What to Expect on the Day of the Event

 

What to expect at

The 7th Annual Wheelin’ for a Cure on September 28th, 2019.

The Trestle Stop in Hamilton (3366 M89, Hamilton, MI) has teamed up with the WFC this year to support Special Days Camp. The event will start and end there.   The Trestle Stop is offering a breakfast buffet starting at 7am for $9.99 and free beverages when you return in the afternoon.

Registration is from 8am to 9:30am. You may register at the event or you can pre-register online at Eventbrite.   A Email will be sent to you with the waiver form for you to sign and bring with you to the event or email back. You will have your choice of a trail guide and departure time at registration or you may go by yourself or a group, just be back to the Trestle Stop by 3:00 for Door Prizes and Raffles.

There is a FREE BBQ lunch on the route for everyone at Little John Lake Park 11:30 to 1:30. If you can’t make the event for the whole day and want to join in at the lunch spot, we are offering a “Lunch Only” option. Then you can come on back to the Trestle Stop for door prizes, raffles and games.

Club Challenge, If your 4×4 club members would like to earn free door prize tickets sign up for the Club Challenge in the morning at registration. The club with the most participants will earn 2 free extra door prize tickets per person at the event and the club that comes in second will earn 1 extra door prize ticket per person at the event.

There will be 2 games to play on the trail ride, “I Spy’s” and “Find the Hand”. You will have a sheet to fill out and turn in for additional door prize tickets. It will be helpful if you have a CB and a extra person with you to fill out the games sheets. Every paid participant will receive a free door prize ticket and extra tickets will be for sale at the event for $5.00 each.

The Wheelin’ for a Cure route is on seasonal roads and trails thru the Allegan State Game area. You do not need any ORV stickers and any street legal vehicle capable of maneuvering thru the forest is welcome. It could be dusty and there is a chance of light scratches.   4×4 drive will probably not be needed. Dogs are welcome on the trail ride and outside the Trestle Stop. Please keep a eye open for horses on the route and please tread lightly.
